I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ve all googled ourselves at one time or another. The results from search engines can be a bit messy. If you want a more elegant depiction of how you&#8217;re represented on the Interwebs, give <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/personas.media.mit.edu\/personasWeb.html\">Personas<\/a><\/strong> a try.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Personas is a component of the <a href=\"http:\/\/techtv.mit.edu\/genres\/25-humanities-arts-and-social-sciences\/videos\/3315-metropathologies\">Metropath(ologies) exhibit<\/a>,       currently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/azinman\/sets\/72157620739518032\">on display<\/a> until Sept 09 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/museum\">MIT Museum<\/a> by the       <a href=\"http:\/\/smg.media.mit.edu\/\">Sociable Media Group<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.media.mit.edu\/\">MIT Media Lab<\/a> (Please contact us if you want to show it next!).       It uses <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.princeton.edu\/%7Eblei\/papers\/BleiNgJordan2003.pdf\">sophisticated natural language processing<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.yahoo.com\/search\/boss\">Internet<\/a> to create a data portrait       of one&#8217;s aggregated <a href=\"http:\/\/doi.acm.org\/10.1145\/505248.505271\">online identity<\/a>.  In short, Personas       shows you how the Internet sees you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Here are my Persona results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.techory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/persona.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/persona-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.techory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/persona-300x54.png 300w, https:\/\/www.techory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/persona-1024x184.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.techory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/persona.png 1072w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 1024px) 1072px, (min-width: 300px) 1024px, (min-width: 150px) 300px, 150px\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-895 aligncenter\" title=\"persona\" alt=\"persona\" width=\"300\" height=\"54\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It doesn&#8217;t tell you where the results come from, so it&#8217;s kind of a fun game to guess what your persona is based on.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Books &#8211; probably from a recording I did of Lawrence Lessig&#8217;s Free Culture book, as well as work I did for The University of Iowa Libraries<\/li>\n<li>Sports &#8211; I&#8217;m no sports hero, but maybe this is from SCUBA sites?<\/li>\n<li>Committees &#8211; I&#8217;ve served on my fair share<\/li>\n<li>Education &#8211; I&#8217;ve been working for higher eduction off an on for quite a few years<\/li>\n<li>Movies &#8211; I like movies (?)<\/li>\n<li>News &#8211; I read news (?)<\/li>\n<li>Legal &#8211; not sure<\/li>\n<li>Social &#8211; I guess I&#8217;m social.<\/li>\n<li>Art &#8211; I have an art minor, and have done work on art web projects in the past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That is my best guess on interpreting how the results.
