I didn&#8217;t receive a gift and the one I sent turned out to be a non-deliverable address. Oh well! I wasn&#8217;t out anything, but I didn&#8217;t get a gift either.<\/p>\n<p>The way it works is you sign up at the <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkblank.com\/santa2005\/about.php\">Secret Santa 2005 Site<\/a> and give a short description of yourself and a link to your site\/blog if you&#8217;ve got one. You also provide a link to your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/registry\/registry.html\/ref=cm_wl_topnav_gateway\/002-2938247-5656810?type=wishlist\">Amazon Wish List<\/a> so your Secret Santa knows what to get you. Your info then goes into the pot and the Secret Santa elves draw names and distribute them to people. You buy a gift for a stranger, and you (hopefully) get one in return. They ask that you have a few items on your Amazon wish list that are under $15 dollars just to keep things inexpensive.<\/p>\n<p>Give it a try&#8230; hopefully it&#8217;ll actually work for me this year.
